Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TECHnique ("the App"), operated by ADAI ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TECHnique. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen within the App.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TECHnique only for its intended purpose — personal dance practice and improvement. You may not:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
• Use the App to build a competing product or service.
• Interfere with the operation of the App or its servers.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free or promotional offers.
• Use automated tools to access the App or its API.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all videos, motion data, and other content you upload or create through TECHnique. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your content for any other purpose and do not share it with third parties.

5. Diamonds and Purchases

• Diamonds are an in-app currency used to create routines and perform practice runs.
• Diamond purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
• Diamonds have no cash value and cannot be transferred, traded, or redeemed for money.
• We reserve the right to adjust the cost of actions (in diamonds) at any time.
• If your account is deleted, any remaining diamond balance is forfeited.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep TECHnique available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

7. Intellectual Property

TECHnique, its design, code, branding, and all associated materials are the property of ADAI and are protected by copyright and trademark law. See our Copyright Notice for details.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TECHnique is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements, that scores or analysis will be perfectly accurate, or that the service will be error-free. Dance practice involves physical activity — use your own judgment and consult a professional if needed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to physical injury during dance practice, loss of data, or loss of profits.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Profile screen. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Data Retention Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice within the App or updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
